F45S 300 Polar White 10’1″ – 8’2″ Extension
What the freak does a double guide do?
The double guide allows you to install two front panels on your awning.
I’m curious… What kind of brackets do I get when I get this awning??
You get the standard brackets in the package. However, you can get specialized brackets if you need them, but they are separate and are a totally different product. They are not free.
How many different colors of base color can I choose from if I choose to get this item?
There are three different colors of the base for this awning.
I like led lights. Can I install some of them on this item?
Yes. You can. In fact, Fiamma says that they have certain models made for this purpose. However, these are not the stock models as far as we know.
What are the different colors?
The colors are polar white, titanium, or deep black.
What are the different colors of fabric I can choose from?
You can choose from royal grey, royal blue, pearl grey, Sahara, evergreen, or Bordeaux.
Can I convert this into… What do they call it? The privacy room some awnings seem to convert into?
Yes. You can convert the awning into a privacy room, however, this is an optional upgrade that you have to get. It does not include the option with the stock version.
Are there any other optional upgrades I should be aware of?
Yes. You can get an upgrade that allows you to make your awning electric. You do not have to manually open or close it.
What kind of installation is this designed for?
The awning is designed for a wall installation.
Wait a minute, can I clean this thing or am I going to be stuck waiting for the rain to clean this thing for me?
Actually, Fiamma says that this awning is washable. You should not have much trouble keeping it clean.
I see that it has “300”. What does that number mean? What significance does it have anyway?
300 is the length of the awning. The ranges for these awnings vary between 260 and 450 cm.
How well made are the arms of this awning? I’d hate to think that I can break them easily when I use this awning.
The arms are fairly strong. They actually incorporate a double steel cable that keeps the tension constant. It should be a noticeable difference if you have used other awnings int he past.
My awning took a beating from the weather.
Fiamma says that this has a dual shock absorbers built in and it should be able to withstand some abuse. The shock absorber has a bracket that absorbs the possible damage. It protects your awning and the vehicle at the same time from damage. Of course, the system has limits but if you do find yourself in bad weather then you will buy yourself extra time in order to get your things together.
I’ve damaged some of my older awnings by rolling my awning the wrong way. Is there some kind of system that makes sure that this is not a possibility?
Yes. Fiamma has developed a system that does not allow you to roll the awning the wrong way. If that was a problem for you in the past then it will not be one in the future with this awning.
