This mount is for the front shock absorber.

How many mounts will I need in my vehicle? 

You will need two mounts in your Sprinter Van. These sell in singular quantities so buy two if you need to replace both mounts.

Are these mounts side specific?

No, they are not. These mounts will work with either the left or the right side.
