It is for 1500, 2500, and 3500 Sprinters that have 3.0L engine sizes.
What years of Sprinters does this thing apply?

What is this fuel door made of?
It is a brushed aluminum door.
Does that mean that it will resist rusting too then?
Yes, it is similar to other products that are made of aluminum. It tends to resist discoloration due to moisture.
Where can I put this door?
Most people install this door on the outside of Sprinter on the sidewall or inside the wall of its truck bed.
Am I going to have to buy anything to get this thing installed properly?
No, you should have all the mounting brackets, hoses, valves, and pumps you should need to get the job done correctly.
How much extra gas do I get from this thing?
The STAFS™ system gives you an extra 30 gallons of fuel.
What does STAFS™ mean?
It stands for Spare Tire Auxiliary Fuel System.
Wait, does that mean I get double my fuel capacity?
It does if you have a vehicle that was made after 2006.
Where does the fuel actually go when not in use?
It uses the space that would most likely be used to house a spare time.
Wait, if it is underneath my van then that means that my truck bed is still available for storage or cargo then?
Yes. It leaves it open so that you can use it to transport whatever you need.
Ok, I get that it's in this spare tire area, but how do I use it if I need it?
You touch a button and it transfers the fuel from your auxiliary tank to your main tank. It will keep going until it is stopped by the controller or if you stop it beforehand by touching the button again.
I'm worried I'm gonna hurt myself when I try to pick this thing up... How heavy is it and will I need help?
It depends. The tank is only 30 lbs. However, that can be a lot for some people. It really depends on you.
What do I get in this system?
You get the mounting hardware, filler kit, electronic fuel transfer monitor and a control unit that you can use from inside the vehicle with the touch of a button.
