How many come with this product?
You get two for your front windows.
My state has very restrictive rules on window tints... Are these going to work for me?
Every state is different and you should check your local laws and regulations. However, we can tell you that the D.O.T. approved the glazing material. The D.O.T. is the US Department of Transportation. Again, you want to check your state laws as tints have their own regulation as well as what views you are not allowed to block such as a view of your rearview mirror for instance.
What does this do other than add another aesthetic for my vehicle?
A lot of people get this shield as a bug shield. Bugs tend to hit the channel instead of hitting you square in the face which is a major plus if you are driving and trying to pay attention. It also keeps out other elements like snow, wind, and rain better than not having one. If you like your window open when you drive then you should consider installing this on your vehicle.
I assume I tape these onto my vehicle. Am I going to have to find a way to tape it up myself with my own tape?
Actually, we are told there is no exterior tape needed. They slide into your window and fit snugly there. You should not have to use any extra tape to get them to stay where they are at all.
What are these made of anyway?
We are told they are made of a 3mm acrylic material.
What color are they, officially?
The official color of these window deflectors is listed as dark smoke.
Do they make these for the rear windows too?
Unfortunately, we only see the side window deflectors for the front windows.
Will they reduce the sound of wind in my car?
Yes. They designed to push the air flow to other places so that you get less wind noise.
