Ford Transit Lighting

Ford Transit lighting for outside and in: LED pods, spot lights and light bars from Baja Designs, Diode Dynamics, KC HiLiTES and RoamBuilt, plus Sandy Vans off-road lights and LED strip lighting. Most of these are universal lights, so plan where they'll mount on your van.

Choosing Transit Lights

Start with what you need the light to do: light up the trail ahead, light up camp, or brighten the inside of the van. Then work out where it mounts.

Pods and spot lights

  • Baja Designs LP6 Pro: a universal auxiliary light pod, with the LP6/LP9 Pro 2-light wiring harness sold separately.
  • Baja Designs Squadron-R SAE: a pair of LED spot lights.
  • Diode Dynamics: the SSC2 SAE/DOT white pod pair and the Stage Series C1R white flood pod pair.
  • Sandy Vans SV Off-Road Lights.

Light bars

For a wide spread of light, there's the Baja Designs XL Pro linkable light bar, the RoamBuilt 50" LED single row light bar and the KC HiLiTES Gravity Titan. The Baja Designs RTL-S 30" rear light bar has a built-in turn signal and mounts at the back of the van.

Interior and camp lighting

Sandy Vans Sunset LED Strip Lighting is the best seller here. Strips run along a ceiling or under cabinets for soft light inside.

Mounting and power

Pods usually mount on a bumper, brush guard or rack, and light bars on the roof rack. See Ford Transit roof racks and grill and brush guards, and plan wiring with your Transit battery system.

FAQs

Are these lights street legal?

Some carry SAE or SAE/DOT markings in their titles, which matters for on-road use. Light bars and off-road lights are generally for off-road use. Check your local rules.

Do I need a wiring harness?

Some lights include one and some don't. Baja Designs sells the LP6/LP9 Pro harness separately. Check each product page.

Do you carry lighting for other vans?
