Ram ProMaster Battery Systems
Ram ProMaster battery systems and solar gear for powering a camper build or a mobile workshop. Shop Renogy lithium batteries, solar panels, charge controllers, DC-DC chargers and inverters, flexible panels from Artek Energy, and EcoFlow power stations and power kits.
Building a ProMaster Power System
Most van power systems have the same parts: a battery bank, a way to charge it (solar, the alternator, or both), and an inverter if you want to run household plugs. You can buy those parts one by one, or start with an all-in-one EcoFlow kit.
Batteries
Renogy 12-volt lithium iron phosphate batteries come in 100Ah and 200Ah sizes, including PRO versions with Bluetooth. All of them have a self-heating function. Add a Renogy 500A battery monitor with shunt or a monitoring screen to keep an eye on charge.
Solar panels and mounts
Renogy rigid panels come in 100-watt and 200-watt sizes, plus a 200-watt flexible panel. Artek Energy offers a 210W flexible panel and the Xantrex Solar Max Flex Panel. For mounting, there are Renogy tilt mount brackets and Artek rocker mount feet, and many builders bolt panels to a ProMaster roof rack. MC4 connectors and branch connectors handle the wiring.
Charging and inverters
Renogy Rover and REGO MPPT charge controllers manage solar input. Renogy 40A and REGO 60A DC-DC chargers charge from the alternator while you drive, and one 40A model adds MPPT solar input. The Renogy 2000-watt pure sine wave inverter runs AC loads.
All-in-one EcoFlow
EcoFlow ranges from the RIVER 2 Pro power station up to the DELTA 2, DELTA 2 MAX and DELTA Pro kits and the 5 kVA Power Kit Gen 2.
FAQs
Do I need a DC-DC charger?
If you want to charge your house battery from the alternator while driving, yes. It's the usual way to top up when solar can't keep up.
Is this gear specific to the ProMaster?
No. Batteries, panels and chargers work in any van. What changes is where you mount them, so plan your roof and floor space first.
Do you carry battery systems for other vans?
Yes. See Sprinter battery systems and Ford Transit battery systems.
