Where Most Transit Owners Start

Going by what our customers buy most, these are the usual first upgrades:

  • A seat swivel: the Amazing Auto seat swivel is our best-selling Transit part. Scopema also makes a swivel and a handbrake relocator kit for the driver's side.
  • Insulation and cabinets: Tec Vanlife Duck Liner and Amazing Auto soft cabinets go into more Transit builds than anything else we sell.
  • A roof rack: low-profile and modular racks from Aluminess and Tec Vanlife, and wheelbase-specific racks from Unaka Gear Co and White Top Adventures.
  • L-track and storage: L-track, studs and hooks, utility baskets and upper cabinets for organizing the cargo area.
  • Water systems: undermount and interior tanks, the Tec Vanlife black stainless sink and shower parts.

Ford Transit Fitment

  • Wheelbase and roof: ladders, racks, windows and screens are often made for one length (130", 148" or 148" extended) and one roof height, so check the title.
  • Model year: the front end changed for 2020, so bumpers like the Aluminess winch bumper come in 2015-2019 and 2020-and-newer versions. A few listings say 2013+ or 2014+ because the same van launched earlier in Europe.
  • AWD: some wheels, like the Flarespace 16" wheel and tire sets, are made for the Transit AWD.
  • Transit Connect: a smaller van with its own parts, including its own floor mats.

FAQs

Which Ford Transit do I have?

Note your model year, wheelbase (130", 148" or 148" extended), roof height (low, mid or high) and whether it's AWD. Every product page lists exactly what it fits. If you're not sure, contact us with your year and VIN and we'll confirm fitment before you order.

Do Sprinter parts fit a Ford Transit?

Van-specific parts like racks, ladders, windows and steps don't cross over. Universal camper parts such as soft cabinets, Duck Liner, L-track and sinks fit any van, and they're listed in the Transit categories too.

Do you carry accessories for other vans?

Yes. See Sprinter van accessories and Ram ProMaster accessories, plus parts for the Mercedes Metris, Chevy Express and VW ID. Buzz.
