Installation Overview

1. Identify the vent location between roof ribs.

2. From inside the van, center punch and mark the location.

3. Locate the mark on the exterior roof.

4. Place the adapter, align, and trace the 14″ × 14″ cutout.

5. Cut the opening and prime the exposed metal.

6. Apply Sika 221 sealant between the roof and adapter.

   • Add extra sealant if the center rib section is flat.

7. Apply butyl tape between the adapter and vent flange.

8. Finish with RV self-leveling sealant over:

   • Vent flange

   • Adapter vertical walls
