Choosing a Transit Seat Swivel

A swivel bolts in between the seat and the seat base. All three here are made for the Transit, with slightly different year ranges in each title.

Driver side: deal with the handbrake

On the driver side, the parking brake lever can get in the way of the seat turning. There are two parts here for that: the Amazing Auto Swivel Hand-Brake Adapter, which fits Mercedes or Ford, and the Scopema 2013+ Ford Transit Handbrake Relocator Kit. Check your swivel's product page for which it calls for, and add it to the same order.

Passenger only, or both?

Many builds swivel only the passenger seat, which skips the handbrake work. Doing both gives you two seats facing the back for meals and lounging.

Which swivel fits my Transit?

All three are for the Transit. Check the year range in the title (2013+, 2014+ or 2015+) against your van. If you're unsure, send us your VIN.

Can I install a Transit swivel myself?

Most people do. It's a bolt-in job, but the seat is heavy and awkward, so have a helper on hand.
