Powering and Lighting a ProMaster

Plan power before you close up the walls. Add up what you'll run each day, size the battery bank to it, then add solar and charging to refill it. Lighting is easier to plan once you know where the wiring will run.

Most power and lighting parts are not van-specific, so fit comes down to where you mount them and how you wire them. Check panel and light dimensions against your roof and front end before you order.

Do I need a professional to install a battery system?

Many builders wire their own, but if you're not comfortable with 12V wiring and fusing, have an electrician check the work.
