There are two ways to stay connected here: satellite internet with Starlink, or a cell booster that makes the most of the signal you already get. Many full-timers run both.

Starlink mounts

First, know which dish you have. Mounts are made for a specific Starlink model.

Cell signal boosters

weBoost Drive Reach kits pull in a weak cell signal and strengthen it inside the van. The Drive Reach RV II 5G is the newer of the two; the Drive Reach 4G LTE covers 4G networks.

Power and roof space

Starlink and boosters both draw power, so size your electrical system for them. A dish also needs a clear view of the sky, so plan it with your solar and any Sprinter roof rack.

A booster helps where there's some cell signal to work with. Starlink works where there's none, as long as the dish can see the sky. Your travel style decides it.

Do I need a specific mount for my dish?

Yes. A Starlink Mini mount won't hold a Standard Gen 4 dish. Match the mount to the dish named in the title.

Will these mounts and boosters fit any van?
