Choosing Ford Transit Windows

Window glass is cut for a specific spot on the van, so start with three things: roof height, which side, and which panel (sliding door, forward panel or rear cargo door).

OE-style glass

AM Auto makes OE-style glass for the Transit. For high roof vans there are sliding windows for the driver's sliding and forward panel and the passenger's sliding door, plus fixed glass for the rear cargo doors and passenger sliding door. High roof 148" EXT vans can also get a driver's rear quarter slider, and there is high roof fixed glass for the driver's forward panel. For low roof vans there is fixed glass for the driver's forward panel and the passenger's front and rear cargo doors. Transit Connect owners will find AM Auto fixed and half-slider glass for the sliding doors.

Will high roof glass fit my mid or low roof Transit?

Don't assume it will. Each AM Auto window names the roof height it's made for. Match the title to your van, or contact us with your year and VIN and we'll check.

Can I install van windows myself?

Many DIY builders do, but it means cutting the body. Use the right adhesive and primer, and follow the maker's instructions.
