Upgrading ProMaster Suspension

A loaded camper drives differently from an empty cargo van. Shocks control how the van moves over bumps, and a sway bar reduces body roll in turns. Many builds do both once the weight of cabinets, water and batteries goes in.

The Roadmaster Rear Sway Bar Kit (#1129-155) is listed for 2019-2025 RAM ProMaster 1500, 2500 and 3500 vans, so check your year before you order.

Wiring add-on

The PacBrake 10 ft extension harness is for single-channel wireless control kits. It's only needed if you run one of those kits.

Can I install shocks myself?

Many DIY builders do with basic tools and a jack. If you're not comfortable working under the van, a shop can fit them.
