Sprinter Van Hitches & Towing
Sprinter hitches and towing parts: Class 3 and Class 4 receiver hitches from eTrailer and CURT, an Aluminess front-end receiver for 2007-2018 vans, brake controllers and wiring. We also carry StowAway hitch-mounted cargo boxes, racks and carriers for hauling gear outside the van.
Choosing a Sprinter Hitch
Most Sprinters need a 2-inch receiver for towing or for a hitch-mounted carrier. Check the class and the years in the title, then read the fitment notes for your wheelbase.
Receiver hitches
- eTrailer Class 3 hitch: for 2007-2023 144" and 170" Sprinters, with a 2-inch receiver.
- CURT Class 3 hitch: with a 2-inch receiver, for Sprinter 2500 and 3500 models.
- CURT Class 4 hitch: with a 2-inch receiver.
- Aluminess front-end receiver hitch: for 2007-2018 Sprinters.
Towing parts
For a trailer, add the CURT Triflex brake controller (1-4 axles) or the CURT Echo wireless brake controller, plus the Terrawagen trailer brake connector kit. CURT also makes an adjustable dual-ball mount and a barbell hitch lock. Rock Solid Components makes an aluminum hitch receiver for recovery gear.
Hitch-mounted cargo
StowAway is the most popular brand here. The StowAway2 MAX Hitch Cargo Carrier is our top seller, alongside the Standard cargo box, a cargo rack, a ski carrier and a rod rack. For bikes, see van bike racks. A hitch is also the base for a hitch step.
