Is the rack going to scratch my bikes?
We cannot say with 100% accuracy that the rack will not damage your bikes. We can say that the bikes are placed in a very secure way that has padding that is meant to help your bikes not get damaged over time. Although it is still possible the chance of it happening is greatly lessened by the design.

No. The manufacturer says that this is a very heavy duty steel construction unit.
