A travel mug in a van has two bad habits: it slides off the dash, and it tips over in the cupholder you don't have. Silwy's thermal mugs fix both. A magnet in the stainless base locks onto the included nano-gel pad wherever you stick it, and double-wall vacuum insulation keeps coffee hot or iced drinks cold for about three hours.
Two Sizes
- 12 oz Flip-Lid Mug (350 ml): a shorter 5.6" mug with a flip lid that seals it leak-proof. Midnight, Sage or Sunrise. Made in Germany.
- 16 oz Thermo Cup (475 ml): a taller 7.1" cup with a stronger power magnet, so it also clings straight to bare steel (a toolbox, a fridge door, a gym rack) without a pad. Leak-proof lid and a scratch-resistant finish. Lavender, Lemon, Melon, Midnight or Sage.
How the Magnet Works
Silwy casts a magnet into the base. On its own it would only grab bare steel, so each piece ships with a thin metal nano-gel pad: press the pad onto a counter, dash, table or shelf and the cup snaps down onto it. Silwy tunes the pull so it holds through corners and rough roads but still lets go when you lift to take a sip. The gel side grips smooth, sealed surfaces without glue, peels off clean, and goes back to full tack after a rinse in plain water, so you can move pads around the van as often as you like.
Want them out of the way? Silwy's metal strip mounts under a shelf or cabinet so these can hang upside down; the pad also lets them stand in a cupboard without rattling.
Care
Silwy recommends washing by hand. Both mugs are stainless steel, so skip the microwave.

FAQs
Does it stick to any surface?
It needs the metal pad, or bare steel for the 16 oz cup. The pad itself sticks to smooth, sealed surfaces such as laminate, painted wood, plastic dash panels and glass. It won't hold well on fabric, raw wood or textured plastic.
Can I store it upside down?
Yes. Hung from Silwy's metal strip under a shelf, it stays put upside down; on a pad it stands upright in a cupboard.
