Tec Vanlife's side ladder climbs the side of a high roof Sprinter to the roof, so the rear doors stay open for a tire carrier or a bike rack. The uprights are fat 1.75" aluminum tube, which gives your hands something solid to hold on the way up.
Choose How It Mounts
- Mounts to Roof Rails: for vans with roof rails on top.
- Mounts to Tec Vanlife Modular Roof Racks: hooks up to a Tec Vanlife modular rack.
Either way the hardware comes with it and Tec Vanlife says no drilling is needed.
Ladder Specs
- Aluminum construction with 1.75" round side tubes.
- Cross tubes are shaped to resist slipping.
- Tec Vanlife rates it to carry up to 300 lb.
- Tec Vanlife recommends re-tightening the hardware after the first 100 miles, then every 600 miles.
