White Top Adventures' Sprinter tire carrier ladder moves your spare onto the driver-side rear door and adds a ladder to the roof in the same unit. With the spare off the underside of the van, there's room down there for a water tank or an auxiliary fuel tank.
Check Your Hinges First
This carrier needs rear doors that swing a full 180°. Some 2019+ Sprinters have 180° hinges from the factory and some don't. If yours stop short, the hinges have to be changed before you install the carrier, and they aren't included.
Construction
- A 2" aluminum tube frame in black powder coat.
- A stainless steel wheel mount that takes tires up to 285 wide without modification.
- Machined aluminum foot pegs and dimpled rungs for grip.
- A silicone dampener at the third mounting point cuts vibration and protects the paint from wear.
- WTA rates it for 300 lb static and dynamic. The unit weighs 33.5 lb.
Fitment
Fits 2019+ Sprinter (VS30) vans whose rear doors have 180° hinges, and it mounts on the driver side. It also fits 2020+ Winnebago Revel and Storyteller Overland Sprinter builds with 180° hinges.
