Getting gear onto the roof of a 2019 or newer Sprinter shouldn't mean drilling through a thin door skin. This Aluminess ladder bolts to factory mounting points on the rear door, and the hinge never has to come off the door during the install.
Choose Your VS30 Ladder Setup
- Roof height: separate ladders for the low roof and the high roof Sprinter.
- Ladder only: a clean climb to the roof with nothing else on the door.
- Ladder + tire/box mount: adds a carrier for a spare tire or a storage box and a set of fold-down offset steps for climbing around it. Hardware for either load is included, and the storage box is sold separately.
Start with the ladder and the carrier can be bolted on later.
Built for 180 and 270 Degree Hinges
- Fits doors with either the 180 or 270 degree hinge. A limiting strap is included, so there's nothing to swap or repaint.
- All-aluminum construction in a textured black powder coat.
- A flat-sided top gives your foot something to lock against while your hands are busy with straps.
- Sits about 4.5" off the door for comfortable footing on each rung.
- Load rating: 300 lb static, 100 lb dynamic. Backup sensors and RotopaX mounts both work with it.
- Plan on 2-3 hours for a typical DIY install.
