Turn a manual Fiamma F80S into a power awning. These 12V retrofit kits bolt onto the end of an F80S you already own, and you can still crank the awning by hand in override mode if the power is out. Which F80S Motor Kit?
- Compact (07929-01): the motor in an aluminum cover, run from a wall-mounted Extend/Retract switch.
- Plus (07929-02): adds an infrared remote, and its control unit tensions the fabric for you when the awning opens. The wall switch is included too.
- Advanced (08320): runs from the Fiamma app on iOS or Android: open, close, and switch or dim the awning LED lights. It also comes with the wall switch.
Before You Install
- The motor adds about 7 cm (under 3 in.) to the awning's length: the end goes from 5 cm to 12 cm past the case.
- 12V only, up to 144 W. Feed it from a line with a 12 A fuse; the motor has its own fuse as well.
- Fiamma recommends an ignition relay (not included) so the awning can't open while the van is moving, and installation by someone comfortable with 12V wiring. Fitting the cover takes a rivet gun.
- Kits weigh about 4.2 to 4.4 lb.
