Planning Cabinets for a Sprinter

Build your cabinet plan around the big fixed items first: the bed, the fridge, the sink and any shower. Cabinets are sold by width, depth and height, so tape the layout on your floor and check that doors and drawers can open fully.

Upper cabinets and wall mounting

Van Wife Components upper cabinets come in 16", 21", 36" and 42" widths, and RB Components makes Sprinter wall cabinets. To hang uppers, RB Components offers a 2007+ upper cabinet wall brace kit for 144" vans and a separate brace for the 170" wheelbase.

Base cabinets, sinks and fridges

• RB Components base cabinets: all 36" tall, in 8", 14" and 24" depths and 18", 24" and 32" widths, plus a microwave cabinet.
• Van Wife Components: an 18" three-drawer base, an 18" one door and one drawer base, 18" and 24" sink bases, an 18" fridge base for a Nova Kool fridge, a 20" microwave cabinet and a single drawer cabinet.
• Showers: Van Wife Components shower units in 24", 30", 33" and 36" sizes.
