Which Windows Fit Transit 148" Flares

• Paint is up to your shop: each flare comes in unfinished primer-gray gel coat, never in a factory color. Flarespace skips painting since a paint code on its own does not land on an exact match; your body shop matches the flare to the van in person.
• Flarespace 1033 Half Slider: slides open sideways and has a built-in bug screen. Either side.
• Flarespace 1033 Awning: a glass pane that tilts outward around 10 degrees, driver side only on the 148".
• Arctic Tern Flat Window: a tinted dual-pane acrylic window, 300 x 700 mm, flush outside, opening to 10 or 35 degrees and locking with push-button handles. Driver side only, with blind and screen sold on their own.

Setting Up the Passenger Side and Trim

• Passenger choices: a half slider, a solid flare, or no flare at all.
• At least one window: combinations without any window live on our solid flare listing.
• Each window costs a little bed length: it is set into the flare, so the usable length shrinks by roughly an inch at that height.
• Noise and privacy: glass carries more outside sound than insulated fiberglass, and you will want a cover over it at night; covers are not included.
• Trim rings: fiberglass finishing rings, one per flare, that frame the inside edge against your wall panels. Mounting hardware is extra.

A body shop handles the whole job: paint over the gel coat, cut the quarter panel at the van's stamped window outline, and bond each flare with the adhesive and written steps Flarespace provides.
