This bundle puts a Tec Vanlife modular roof rack and the Tec Vanlife side ladder on a high roof Sprinter in one order. The ladder hooks to the rack, so the two are made to work together.
Pick Your Wheelbase
- 144" High Roof: the rack alone weighs 56 lb.
- 170" High Roof: the rack alone weighs 72 lb.
The Modular Roof Rack
- Side rails are single-piece extruded aluminum with double-thick corners, strong enough to hang an awning.
- Crossbars move, so you can work around solar panels, a roof fan, an A/C unit or a cargo box.
- A deliberate gap between the fairing and the roof lets air flow under solar panels and cuts turbulence.
- Works with Tec Vanlife's walk-on deck panels in L-Track or bolt-down layouts.
- Rail profile is 5" tall; the rack is 53.34" wide outside, with 51.77" between the rails for panels.
- Attaches to the roof rails with no drilling.
The Side Ladder
Aluminum, with 1.75" round uprights and anti-slip cross tubes, rated by Tec Vanlife to 300 lb. It's also sold on its own as the Tec Vanlife Sprinter side ladder.
For high roof Sprinters, 2007 and later. Never load past the roof limit Mercedes-Benz sets for your van, and re-check all hardware after 100 miles and every 600 miles after that.
