A side ladder leaves the Transit's rear doors untouched, which matters if those doors already carry a tire, a bike rack or nothing you want drilled. This Aluminess side ladder clamps to an Aluminess roof rack and gives you a direct climb up on the driver side.
Pick the Ladder for Your Transit Roof
- Low Roof, Mid Roof or High Roof: each is a different length, so order the one that matches your van.
At the top it grips the rack with a 1-5/16" pipe clamp made for Aluminess racks, so it may not fit another brand of rack.
Transit Side Ladder Details
- All-aluminum build.
- Mounts on the driver side and stands about 5" off the body, close enough to clear obstacles and wide enough to climb comfortably.
- No holes in the rear doors.
- Ships at about 21 lb.
