Mercedes Sprinter 144" Van Flares with Windows | 2007+, Slider, Awning or Arctic Tern

On a 144" Mercedes Sprinter the flares sit right beside a crosswise bed, which makes them the natural place for a window you can open from your pillow. These flares widen the cargo box enough for a sideways mattress, and each windowed flare here includes its window, chosen from the ones Flarespace sells for it.

Sprinter 144" Flare Windows

• Arrives unpainted: the fiberglass comes as bare 300-grit gel coat. Flarespace leaves color to the body shop, since matching the real van beats trusting a paint code.
• Flarespace 1033 Half Slider: a sliding 10" x 33" window with screen, available on regular or extended driver flares and on the passenger flare.
• Flarespace 1033 Awning: glass that tilts outward about 10 degrees. Driver side only, regular or extended depth.
• Arctic Tern Flat Window: extended-depth driver flare only. An Arctic Tern dual-pane acrylic window measuring 300 by 700 mm with a flat, tinted exterior that opens to 10 or 35 degrees. Its blind and screen are separate purchases.

Depth, Sides and Trim Rings on the 144"

• Driver depth: regular stands about 3.25" off the body; extended adds roughly 2" more toe room and costs the same.
• Passenger side stays regular depth: anything deeper would hit the sliding door. Choose a half slider, a solid flare or none.
• Skip extended depth on dual-sliding-door or right-hand-drive Sprinters.
• Bed length: each window is inset, trimming about an inch to an inch and a half off the bed at that height. Covers for night privacy are sold separately.
• Trim rings: depth-matched fiberglass rings that finish the opening between your wall panels and the flare.

Window Flare Installation and Sprinter 144" Fitment

Plan on a professional body shop. It paints the gel coat, removes the quarter-panel section inside Mercedes' stamped window outline, seals the raw edge against rust and bonds the flare with the included Flarespace adhesive and instructions. Flarespace's one-year limited warranty only covers professional installs, and everything is made to order, so line up the shop early.
