Electric power running boards

Power boards fold out when a door opens and tuck away when you drive. Sprintek driver and passenger side power boards with AMP Research steps are our best sellers, in separate kits for 2024-2027 and 2019-2023 VS30 vans. The AMP Research PowerStep fits 2007-2018 Sprinters, and Alex Original makes automatic electric steps for 2007-present vans. We also stock the AMP override switch.

Drop-down running boards

Tec Vanlife makes the Drop Down Running Board, Aluminum Running Boards With Drop-Down and the Modular Drop Down Hexagon Series.

Fixed running boards and side steps

Power running boards or fixed?

Power boards keep the step out of the way when you drive and drop down when you open the door. Fixed boards are simpler, with nothing to wire.
